I spent most of the year being pregnant with our daughter. I really don’t like having my photo taken and the thought of taking a self portrait made me cringe but I remember seeing the photos of my own mum pregnant and loved looking those old pictures! Especially old film photos. I want Emmylou to see herself being baked in the oven and remember for myself that I used to have perky boobs. Some of these are shot with 35mm colour film and the others are with digital. I made it a point to not take any photos of myself with an iPhone during his time, mostly because I look like an absolute tool when I try taking a selfie.
